Motorcycles are complex mechanisms with 100s of moving parts and fixed components. These can wear from continual movement or appear tired due to the elements. Internal engine parts

Motorcycle engines can be simple, like a vintage single-cylinder unit or as complex as a high-performance multi-cylinder engine. The common denominator is, moving parts wear out over time.

Pistons – A motorcycle piston moves up and down in the bore 1000s of times per minute, so it's no wonder they wear out. To combat this, XLMOTO pistons are precision machined from aerospace-grade aluminium billet.

These race - quality pistons are available in stock or over-size to suit the bore. In addition, they are supplied with rings, gudgeon/wrist pins and circlips.

Conrods – Replacement conrods also come with top and bottom-end bearings.

Shims – These precision-machined steel discs fit in the cylinder head to adjust the valve clearance. Most Japanese motorcycle manufacturers use the same circumference of shim. However, they are available in various thicknesses. For this reason, XLMOTO shims fit multiple makes and models.

External engine parts

Motorcycle oil cap – Oil caps are large aluminium plugs that screw into the crankcase. Removing the plug allows you to top up the engine oil. These billet aluminium aftermarket oil caps will add flair to your motorcycle engine.

Multiple colours and finishes are available, as well as a race option which you can securely wire in place. A further motorcycle oil cap option is available, featuring a built-in temperature gauge.

Quickshifter - This section also includes quickshifters. When wired into your bike, these kits allow for gear changes without using the clutch or manually dropping the revs.

Cosmetic engine parts

Changing worn internal parts is essential for the smooth running of your motorcycle. Yet, if bling is your thing, XLMOTO is the right place.

Radiator hose kits - With so many motorcycles using liquid cooling, an engine needs multiple hoses. XLMOTO radiator hose kits are colourful and outperform stock items. They also add flair to the cooling system.

Engine bolt kit – You can choose coloured motorcycle oil caps, so why not add a coloured engine bolt kit to frame the crankcase's contours? These high-quality anodised bolt kits are tough and easy on the eye.

Radiator covers - Some motorcycle radiators, especially those on cruiser-style bikes, have chrome covers. Unfortunately, though, it isn't long before they start to rust. When you need to upgrade your rad, XLMOTO's range of chrome radiator covers offers serious bling as well as extra protection. Radiator side covers – In this section and aimed more at the street bike market, you will find radiator side covers. Most modern motorcycles have radiators that integrate with the gas tank or feature aerodynamic ducts. Now, for a sportier look, you can brighten up the sides of these ducts with ABS plastic covers in matt black or carbon-type finishes.
