Nexx has created a really solid premium helmet for sport/touring with lots of smart features, designed to enable you to ride both fast and long distances in different conditions.
The aerodynamically designed outer shell comes in three sizes and is made with Nexx X-Matrix technology that combines 6 different materials including: fibreglass, carbon fibre and aramid fibre. The result is a super strong and lightweight shell that can withstand up to 35% higher stress than ordinary fibreglass. The shell is also well ventilated with the help of three air intakes on the top and four exhausts in the back. The chin part also has air intakes and is also equipped with a removable chin curtain that reduces turbulence and the sound level inside the helmet. In addition, the chin part is specially designed to reduce the risk of chest damage in the event of a collision.
The inside of the helmet has a seamless lining made with Nexx X-Mart Dry technology - a specially treated material that dries twice faster than cotton. The lining is 3D-shaped for best comfort. The liner also has multiple air vents and is removable, washable and anti-allergenic. The cheek pads are also equipped with a so-called Emergency Strap System which allows them to be removed without removing the helmet. This is very useful in if an accident has occurred.
The helmet is also prepared for the Nexx X-Com 2 communication system.
Other features include: integrated sun visor, quick-release system for the visor, double D-ring buckle and reflective strips for increased visibility in the dark.
